this is an used 1858 great britain queen victoria 2d blue plate 8 stamp.i noticed that the "8" more like an "R" now on the stamp.i was thinking if ink was too much covered up the bottom of the "8" when printing, why the legs are so long, straight and sharp?or probably printed an "R" or unique icon on the stamp?can anyone who is an expert for this stamp explain it to me?beside this, the middle part of the watermark looks unique too,it has an extra lines between the ring, the line below the ring is missing and the ring is inverted, other than this, the watermark is just fine like the normal large crown watermark.please check it out the photos and let me know what you think.
