parcel post

Post by jimusedcontrols »

I have been rearranging my parcel post labels according to parcel rates and was wondering whether there is an overview on higher rates than in the tables. I have for example 1/9d from 1898, 2/2d and 2/3d from 1905 1/4d from 1914 etc. These are above the top rates in the table and I was not sure whether the tables show the top weights allowed or can be extrapolated to higher rates. Alternatively were the parcel post labels used for parcels abroad too, and if so is there any list of parcel rates abroad like the one Maurice has set up for inland parcels?
Any help welcomed
thanks

Belatedly noticed this ... the rates in the GBPS tables are the complete sets of inland rates. Any higher rate on a parcel post label must be for an overseas parcel.

Unfortunately, there aren't any comprehensive tables of the overseas parcel rates that I know of -- something to look at in the BPMA!
