GB Postal Rates
Information about the postal rates in force is frequently vital for understanding and writing-up covers, but sometimes (or often!) this can be difficult to track down. The current section is intended as a general resource for GB collectors, listing as many British postage rates as possible.In order to get things started, it currently only covers selected rates, but it is hoped to expand this over time with further detail to make it a truly comprehensive resource. Naturally, this includes the details of pre-stamp rates and indeed post-stamp pre-UPU rates to overseas destinations, but this is a vast topic -- indeed a series of such topics -- as these rates are often of considerably greater complexity than the inland rates. So it's very much a case of taking things one step at a time.
