I thought all members should be advised of my recent experience of buying a few bits and pieces from a USA collector. 10 days after he despatch from USA by international mail I received a note from Parcel Force demanding £43.00 VAT and clearnce fees for stuff purchased for £135.00. Lesson... anything you buy outside the EU get it sent by standard air mail with no value. |
