1884 Lilac and Green Colour Trials

Post by specimen »

I have been searching Gibbons QV Specialist and Wiseman for the Colour Trials of this issue. I keep searching for these seemingly elusive beasties and have seen one in Yellow, ( a rare QV Colour), but what other ones are there? I gather there was an article in the Journal but I believe this was before I became a member.

Can anyone help please?

specimen,

I suggest you use electronic power and use the GBPS search facility using "1884 Lilac and Green Colour Trials" as the search term.

The first hit shows "1884 Colour Trials Without Corner Letters [M] 33(4)69. — The 1884 Inleaf [L] 13(4)86. — Lilac and Green Issue 1884-1886, Coloured Paper Trials [L] 33(2)21."

It comes up with other items that have been in the GBJ before you joined, as well as items that have been in displays. As a member you can peruse them all at leisure.
