1/2d deep green imperf

I collect early GB air mail covers and recently purchased a 1920 cover from London to Brussels. It was a 2d stationary envelope uprated with 1/2d deep green. The 1/2d was imperf. This seemed unusual. Can anyone tell me anything about this stamp. Is it uncommon?

afraid it is just a postcatd cutout. Fun though. The rate was only for surface mail so presumably it did not go by air or are there cancels on the reverse showing air mail?
