Fords Blotting Paper in 3/- booklets

Post by earsathome »

Hello All,

Having been 'geed up' by Robin R to do something with my run of Edward VIII
booklets I have a query about blotting paper in the 3/- booklet, edition
number 320.

The first interleaf is Fords Blotting Paper and in the booklets I have there
is one printed on 'Golden Yellow' blotting paper, one on 'Alpine Green' and
two on 'Blue'.

Does anyone know how I can find out how many different colours were used for
this advert.?

Is there anyone on this list with copies of Edition 320 who can let me know
which colours are used in their copies?

Isn't it amazing how one can get drawn into research of such items

Regards.

Harvey and Mozzerb
Many thanks for the link, what a fabulous resource.
It will be getting a lot of visits from us.
Eunice and I sort of split our GB collections and both like booklets.
Unfortunately the really early ones are beyond us but from the Silver Jubilee onwards we have quite a smattering of them with a complete run of KEVIII, a selection of GVI and Wildings and a plethora of Machins.
It's all good fun.
Thanks again.
Ron.
