Can anyone inform me of the number of Imperforate Imprimature stamps sold at auction by the Post Office Archives. at their auction

The maximum available would be one sheet, i.e. 40 stamps. It is not known how many of the 40 have been issued.
There are registration sheets (imprimaturs) for all issues: Waterlow, 1st De La Rue, 2nd De La Rue, Bradbury Wilkinson watermarked, Bradbury Wilkinson unwatermarked and 2s6d coated as well as overprints.
So the potential number that could be issued is quite high.
Most are easily available if you are prepared to pay high prices.
