Preparing an article concerning The Tattersall Story (postal ban in Australia for a lottery provider 1902 - 1930) I found the attached cover. I have found name and address for a "FANCY GOODS TRADER AND EXPORTER"-company. But some years ago a person called W.J. O´Brien sold the Tattersall´s hotel in Sydney to George Adams (the founder of the lottery) in 1878. Probably this W.J. O´Brien is the same person on the address W.B. Tattersall and has returned from Sydney to London.
Does anybody know, when this Tattersall Ltd. was founded and whether there is a historical connection to Australia?
Thanks in Advance for your support
Manfred
