Mail robbery. The Grand West mail was robbed between Staines and Hounslow

These are to give notice, That on Wednesday the 7th instant, about 2 in the Morning, the Grand West Mail coming to London, was robbed between Staines and Hounslow by 3 Men, and that 2 Bank-Bills, dated the 2d of June, 1698, Numb. 5427 and 5429 were supposed to be taken out of the same: Therefore all Persons are desired to stop the said Bills, if offered in payment, and secure the Persons who shall tender the same; and give notice to the Secretary of the Post-Master-General, at the Post-Office in Lombard-street, and he shall be well rewarded.
