Writer of a letter to the Secretary is requested to identify himself

Whereas an anonymous Letter, dated the 22d Instant, was sent by the Penny Post, and directed to me, as Secretary of this Office: This is to acquaint the Person who wrote the same, that if he will discover and make himself known to me, and fully communicate the several Particulars of what he suggests, he may depend upon all the Safety and Secrecy he may or can require, in regard to his Person, at the same Time that I am authorized to assure him that he may also depend upon all the Encouragements he can reasonably expect as a Reward for the Service his Information may be of.
