Mail robbery. Post boy robbed near Chudleigh

THE Post Boy carrying the Mail from Ashburton to Exeter, was stopped near Chudleigh, about one o'clock on the morning of Saturday the 20th ultimo, by two men on foot, dressed in blue seamens jackets, with trowsers, and masks over their faces, who robbed the Boy of One Shilling and Six Pence in Silver, and Ten Pence Halfpenny in Copper.

Whoever shall apprehend and convict, or cause to be apprehended and convicted, both or either of the persons who committed this Robbery, will be entitled to a Reward of FIFTY POUNDS.
