Introduction of Intermediate Size 1d and 1½d
Does anyone know when the intermediate sized 1d and 1.5d were first introduced? The specialized catalogue just says 1934. The large and small sizes have the year, month and day indicated.

I believe it is possible if the booklets or coils are mechnically cut. The perforations that are machnically cut should be uniform with no trace of tearing. The sides not machine cut would be ragged by comparison. If you looked with a magnifier you should see irregular tears on the individual perf t...

What you have is Stanley Gibbons catalogue number 1614. The Queen's head is printed in optically variable ink which changes color from gold to green when viewed at different angles. It can also be found on the £1, £1.50 and £3 values.
