Tattersall cover to be identified

Preparing an article concerning The Tattersall Story (postal ban in Australia for a lottery provider 1902 - 1930) I found the attached cover. I have found name and address for a "FANCY GOODS TRADER AND EXPORTER"-company. But some years ago a person called W.J. O´Brien sold the Tattersall´s...

Alphabet I, II or III

The usage of different alphabets is helpful to identify Archer Perforations and the association to different plates.

But how to identify the different alphabets and the deviations between them.

A link or a hint concerning literature would be much appreciated

Kind regards

Does anybody knows this seal?

Siegel Messe Leipzig.jpeg I have found this seal on a letter from GB to Music (Germany) from about 1908. The seal looks like the "Two-M-Emblem" from the industry fair of Leipzig (East Germany). But because I cannot imagine a reason for this seal on a letter from GB it should be something ...

Cancellation overview literature

Hi,
I am pretty new in collecting British stamps from the early periods. So I do not know or even do not possess the main important literature.

Please give me advice, where to find an overview of the cancellation types and the matches of number and towns

thanks a lot

POST EARLY IN THE DAY

I am trying to collect material for an exhibit or publication concerning LATE FEE and TOO LATE obliterations (perhaps you can be supportive). So I have found this cover with an "POST EARLY IN THE DAY" obliteration. Is this just a marking like "you the correct zip code" or is this...
