I have been consolidating our London Post letters, and have a few of the Two Py Post Unpaid receiving house stamps, and have come across this one which we cannot identify - cannot even be sure of the first letter!
The datestamp on the back is the red oval 7 o'Clock Ja .4 1813 Nt if that is any help.
Have trawled through "The Local Posts of London 1680 - 1840" by George Brumell but cannot find anything like it in the list
Would anyone be able to help with suggestions please?
Regards
Ron and Eunice.

Mike,
Many thanks for that. Despite the high res. scan and the reference books, I was looking for something ending with HAW.
Of course, now you tell us and we look carefully we can see it.
Grateful for the swift response.
