Re: 1964 Shakespeare set on Harrison and son card

These would not be produced to give to anyone. They would be for internal use only. Probably the 2/6 was also included imperf. since it was from a different printer. When requested for a sample they would not know whether perforated or imperf was needed (or maybe they did not have any perforated at ...

A series of experiments were carried out over a period of years to find a coin-operated vending machine and stamp booklet of a suitable format. This is one of the booklets. Since it was to be used in a vending machine all the information was on the label around a bundle of the booklets for the perso...

Ron and Paul You may all be correct in supposing not all colours are in all booklets, only 1 colour, or more, may be in 1 booklet. A survey of the members with blotting paper in their booklets may be of interest. I too have a BP interleaf in white from a Silver Jubilee booklet but mine (a genuine in...

They all said roughly the same. I think someone needs to look up the records in t...

Uncoated Paper on Cook Booklet The first pane from the Cook Booklet I ever touched was on uncoated paper. I split a Cook Book to put on FDCovers and the 5d pane was very hard to place on the cover. The next pane was entirely different and went on smoothly and with no effort , as did the other panes....

As a collector of KGV and KGVI and QEII coils and any others I can find I produced a bibliography of articles on coils in 1978. Although out of date for basic details the articles are still of use and I'm sure the bibliography can be updated. Ref : GBJ Vol. 16(5) p 110-111 (October 1978). In fact th...
