I am looking for information regarding imprimaturs drawn from the 1959 wilding phosphor graphite issue. Were multiple sheets drawn from the print run or only a single sheet examination and subsequently retained by the Post Office/ The Postal Museum? Thank you

I have a block of 1/2d PUC stamps with a double perforation down the left hand side of the sheet. Can anyone tell me how this he'd occurred
