Hi Owen, designers regularly visited exhibitions and signed around the margins of sheets for sale to collectors. Hi Owen, a very interesting post and is making me look closely at the items I have !! There were in fact 3 retouch states to remove the 'HLP' from the jubilee lines - in the first the 'P' was removed - in the second the 'H' was removed and the third state all the letters were removed. Hi Owen, well done on finding the 2 blocks on the dot cylinder. Cylinder 4 is a VERY scarce cylinder to locate anything on - even cylinder singles. Like you, I only have an example from the Dot cylinder and have never seen any No Dot examples for sale ( & I've been looking for years. ) !!!! I've...
