Münster has got an airport! There is also an airport near Paderborn. Paderborn is about 100 km from Münster. I will travel to Münster on the 2. October- but only for one day. I am a member of the Forschungsgemeinschaft. So let me know. Perhaps we can travel together.

Perhaps somebody can help me. I would like to prepare club booklets for the Packet Service and is it possible to use Hawid stripes instead of hinges?

Brown/Fisher discribes the watermarks in his books. But from which side? Normally I detect watermarks from the back.

2 Pence Plate 4 Various Cancellations

I need your help! Here is a 2 Pence Plate 4 and I can not read the cancel. What a sort of cancellation is it? I think it is quiet unusual- a town dated postmark? Is it a better cancel on a line engraved stamp? Thanks for your help and opinion!

Plate 3 or 4?

I need help! I have got this stamp S.G. 13/15aa. It is from field BH. I think it is Plate 3, because the upper line of the right corner is thin and shows a minute gap at the inner end.
What do you think? It would be nice, if it be Plate 4! Early printing without Spectacle variety.

Colours 18 Pence

I bought these booklets recently and I noticed a very dark 18 Pence at one of the booklets. See scan please. The last booklet at the right hast got a deeper shade of the 18 P.. These booklets are from the series MCC Bicentenary. Worth a premium?

Postage rates GB-Iraq

Can anybody tell me the postage rates from England to the Iraq? No air mail! I need the rates from 1923 up to the year 1940.

In press notice nr. P.N. 256 of 29.11.1923 an addition of 3d per ounce was given.

Where can I get these press notices?
