Cover markings ID

I picked up the attached this past weekend at a local stamp show. Can anyone tell me what the markings are above the addressee's last name and close to the upper front left? They looked added after the fact? Thank you.

Yes, they seem to be somebody (presumably the addressee?) using the envelope as a handy piece of scrap paper to doodle on. Not a clue what the marks might mean, if anything!

Yes - an odd one. Almost like trying to decipher scribble on the backside of stamps! Haha.
