Unusual Usages of QEII Pre-Decimal Commemoratives

Introduction

This entry is, admittedly, something of a makeweight assembled from pre‑existing sheets – but it is also intended to make a few suggestions while doing so:
  • Stamps issued after the reign of Queen Victoria, or even after the reign of George V, can still have philatelic interest

  • Yes, even if they're commemoratives

  • The way that stamps are used on cover is a very relevant part of their story

So the following pages will show selected unusual usages of QEII £sd commemoratives, from the first set (1953 Coronation) to the last (1970 Christmas).
